Body-Mind-Work – Berlin – Johannes von Gwinner

About the Grinberg Method

The Grinberg Method is a method of learning through and with the body. Through specific techniques, touches, bodywork and exercises you can learn how automatic and often unconscious body behaviors, such as bracing, cause us pain, discomfort and restrictions. The next step is to learn to stop what has previously led to the condition. The attention moves from the head more to the body. Emotions such as fear, pain and anger are often trapped in the body or it is avoided to feel them. You can learn to let go these blockages what often releases a lot of energy that was not available before.

Fear can for example be a very useful energy when it flows freely in us. The Grinberg Method is very successful and effective in working with chronic PAIN

Often, the condition of my clients improve after a few sessions.

With the Grinberg Method you can achieve improvements and learn a better way with:

  • Physical discomfort and pain
  • Stress, tension, anxiety, nervousness and insomnia
  • Tiredness, lack of energy and motivation
  • Shyness and fear of exposure
  • Poor self-confidence, relationships
  • Professional failure, a separation or a loss
  • The development of a talent or the implementation of a project
  • To solve important decisions or a personal dilemma

By touching techniques, movements, exercises and discussions, you can learn:

  • To breathe, to relax and to stop unnecessary “noise” in your head
  • To gain body awareness as how you are breathing, find out on fear and pain and how restrictive these physical reactions often are
  • To get control of patterns or automatic reactions and to stop them if necessary, to recover freedom in dealing with the situations of life
  • To change your attitude and dealing with pain and fear
  • To identify and stop influences by burdens from the past
  • To develop courage and confidence
  • To focus your attention on the realization of your desires
